**Orlando, FL** – The Florida A&M University National Alumni Association Greater Orlando Chapter is thrilled to announce the 8th Annual Scholarship Jazz Brunch, scheduled for Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Lakeshore Center in Ocoee. Community members are cordially invited to join us for a morning of celebration and support for the next generation of Rattlers.
This signature event, sponsored by the Florida A&M University National Alumni Association Greater Orlando Chapter, embodies our commitment to "Giving Back to Pay It Forward." By attending, guests will contribute to scholarships that empower and uplift young scholars as they pursue their academic endeavors.

FAMU NAA Spring Bus Preview

**Over 3,000 Prospective Students Explore Opportunities at FAMU's Spring Preview**
*Tallahassee, FL* - On March 23, 2024, Florida A&M University (FAMU) welcomed over 3,000 prospective students and chaperones to its Spring Preview event held at Jake Gaither Gymnasium. This event, strategically scheduled before the fall semester application deadline, provided attendees with a comprehensive insight into life at FAMU.
Organized by the FAMU National Alumni Association (NAA) Greater Orlando chapter, the Spring Preview saw the participation of 35 local students and 48 others, including chaperones. Despite primarily targeting high schoolers, the inclusivity of the event was highlighted by the presence of a middle school student, showcasing FAMU's commitment to fostering ambition from an early age.
The day was filled with engaging activities, including informative sessions featuring addresses from student leaders and administrators, providing attendees with valuable insights into academic offerings and campus culture. Additionally, a Be-Out day sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA) offered attendees the chance to connect with current students and experience the vibrant spirit of the FAMU community.
Highlighting the day was a visit to Top Cafe, where attendees enjoyed the opportunity to socialize and savor delicious food alongside fellow prospective students. Bernie Hendricks Jr. from Ocoee High School served as an enthusiastic tour guide, guiding attendees through campus facilities and showcasing the numerous opportunities available at FAMU.
